ആലുവ: സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരു വർഷം നടന്ന വീട്ടുപ്രസവത്തിൽ മരിച്ചത് ആറ് നവജാത ശിശുക്കൾ. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ ജനുവരിയിൽ 14 വീട്ടുപ്രസവങ്ങൾ നടന്നതായും മൂന്നു നവജാതശിശുക്കൾ മരിച്ചതായും വിവരാവകാശ രേഖയിൽ പറയുന്നു. ഹൈക്കോടതി അഭിഭാഷകൻ അഡ്വ. കുളത്തൂർ ജയ്സിംഗിന് ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പ് ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റ് നൽകിയ വിവരാവകാശ അപേക്ഷയിലാണ് ഈ വിവരമുള്ളത്.

2019 മുതൽ 2026 ജനുവരി വരെ 3,369 വീട്ടുപ്രസവങ്ങൾ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തതായി വിവരാവകാശ അപേക്ഷയിലെ മറുപടിയിൽ പറയുന്നു. ഇതിൽ 2025 ജനുവരി മുതൽ 2026 ജനുവരി വരെ 202 വീട്ടുപ്രസവങ്ങളാണ് സംസ്ഥാനത്തു റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തത്.തിരുവനന്തപുരം – 20, കൊല്ലം – 8, പത്തനംതിട്ട – 2, ആലപ്പുഴ – 8, കോട്ടയം – 3, ഇടുക്കി – 27, എറണാകുളം – 16, തൃശൂർ – 10, പാലക്കാട് – 15, മലപ്പുറം – 50, കോഴിക്കോട് – 11, വയനാട് – 17, കണ്ണൂർ – 10, കാസർഗോഡ് – 4 എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് വീട്ടുപ്രസവങ്ങൾ.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒരുവർഷം വീട്ടുപ്രസവങ്ങളിൽ മരണപ്പെട്ടത് ഒമ്പത് നവജാത ശിശുക്കൾ .
2025 ജനുവരി മുതൽ 2026 ജനുവരി വരെ വീട്ടുപ്രസവങ്ങളിൽ ഒമ്പത് നവജാത ശിശുക്കൾ മരിച്ചതായും ആരോഗ്യവകുപ്പിന്റെ കണക്കുകൾ വ്യക്തമാക്കുന്നു.2019-20 കാലയളവിൽ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് 467, 2020-21-ൽ 576, 2021-22-ൽ 586, 2022-23-ൽ 584, 2023-24-ൽ 526, 2024-25-ൽ 428, 2025 ജനുവരി മുതൽ ഡിസംബർ വരെ 188, 2026 ജനുവരിയിൽ മാത്രം 14 എന്നിങ്ങനെയാണ് വീട്ടുപ്രസവ കണക്കുകൾ. 2021-22-ൽ ഒന്ന്, 2022-23-ൽ നാല്, 2023-24-ൽ നാല്, 2024-25-ൽ 12, 2025 ജനുവരി മുതൽ ഡിസംബർ വരെ ആറ് എന്നിങ്ങനെ നവജാതശിശുക്കൾ വീട്ടുപ്രസവത്തിൽ മരിച്ചതായും വിവരാവകാശ മറുപടിയിൽ പറയുന്നു.
ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ മലപ്പുറം ജില്ലയിലാണ് വീട്ടു പ്രസവങ്ങൾ റിപ്പോർട്ട് ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നത്.
